BIOGRAPHY
Castor Fernandez was born and raised in New York, earned his degree in creative writing at the University of Miami, and moved to LA to pursue his career in film and television.
After beginning his television career as a story producer on Emmy Award winning series Top Chef and Top Chef Masters, Castor then joined the production team on Project Runway All Stars.
He parlayed his love of story telling into a string of award winning documentary features, including Brothers in Exile (ESPN - Emmy Award Outstanding Documentary Series), The All American Cuban Comet (SEC Networks), Dark Horses (NBC), and The Clemente Effect (ESPN Deportes).
He has also produced programming for Netflix (Shot in the Dark) Red Bull TV (Breaking the Day), History Channel (Chasing Oswald) and was the Showrunner on Discovery ID's Dead Silent and Your Worst Nightmare.
In 2018 Castor and Castor Productions moved back to the east coast where we now focus on feature documentaries + doc series development and production.
